The Stronger BC grant provides funding to B.C.-based businesses to promote their business online to attract new local customers and expand to new markets.
The grant will pay for up to 75% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $7,500 per business.
They require recipients to add an online store or online booking for their business within 12 weeks of receiving the grant.
You will also need to submit an expense report, or risk losing the funding.
Develop a grant proposal that indicates how you plan to use the funds. Businesses need to show a cost estimate that includes how much funding is needed and how it will be spent.
Once approved for the grant, add an online store or an online booking on your business website, and keep track of your expenses related to the grant.
Applicants will be contacted within 12 weeks from the grant approval to submit a proof of online store or online booking added to the business and to submit Expense Summary Report.
